But you can\u2019t change the Bios boot to UEFI boot with the build in steps in SCCM. But here is a quick and dirty way to do it semi automatic. You should have an Task sequence Available and not required for your Windows 10 deployment. Thanks to <a href=\"https:\/\/miketerrill.net\/2015\/08\/31\/automating-dell-bios-uefi-standards-for-windows-10\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Mike Terrill blog post<\/a> for the inspiration.<\/p>\n<p>In the guide you are going to use the bios configuration that you have created in <a href=\"https:\/\/rolig.dk\/2016\/05\/10\/configure-hp-bios-during-osd\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">this blog post<\/a>. Remember to configure the Bios for UEFI and secure boot <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wlEmoticon wlEmoticon-smile\" style=\"border-top-style: none; border-left-style: none; border-bottom-style: none; border-right-style: none\" alt=\"Smile\" src=\"https:\/\/rolig.dk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/wlEmoticon-smile.png\"><\/p>\n<p>1. Create a new Custom task sequence and add you boot image.<br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/rolig.dk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/image.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"image\" style=\"border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px; background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-left: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: inline; padding-right: 0px\" border=\"0\" alt=\"image\" src=\"https:\/\/rolig.dk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/image_thumb.png\" width=\"597\" height=\"323\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>2. Create a \u201cApply Operating System Image\u201d step and add a Task sequence variable as shown below. This will do that the step never will run and we can exit the task sequence without error codes.<br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/rolig.dk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/image-1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"image\" style=\"border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px; background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-left: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: inline; padding-right: 0px\" border=\"0\" alt=\"image\" src=\"https:\/\/rolig.dk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/image_thumb-1.png\" width=\"571\" height=\"321\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>3. Create a group \u201cBios Tasks Windows 10\u201d. In my case I will use it to make sure that it is only Pc\u2019s that are target for windows 10 deployment. I can do that because I use a Computer variable to determine if the pc should have Windows 10 or Windows 7.<br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/rolig.dk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/image-2.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"image\" style=\"border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px; background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-left: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: inline; padding-right: 0px\" border=\"0\" alt=\"image\" src=\"https:\/\/rolig.dk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/image_thumb-2.png\" width=\"590\" height=\"234\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>4. Create a group \u201cHP\u201d with the following conditions to make sure that it is a HP computer:<br \/>Select * from Win32_ComputerSystem WHERE Manufacturer like &#8220;%HP%&#8221;<br \/>and<br \/>Select * from Win32_ComputerSystem WHERE Manufacturer like &#8220;%Hewlett-Packard%&#8221;<br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/rolig.dk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/image-3.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"image\" style=\"border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px; background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-left: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: inline; padding-right: 0px\" border=\"0\" alt=\"image\" src=\"https:\/\/rolig.dk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/image_thumb-3.png\" width=\"596\" height=\"219\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>5. Create a group \u201c840G1\u201d to apply Bios setting on that model:<br \/>Select * From Win32_ComputerSystem WHERE Model LIKE &#8220;%840 G1%&#8221;<br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/rolig.dk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/image-5.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"image\" style=\"border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px; background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-left: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: inline; padding-right: 0px\" border=\"0\" alt=\"image\" src=\"https:\/\/rolig.dk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/image_thumb-5.png\" width=\"590\" height=\"216\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>6. Create a \u201cRun Command Line\u201d step to configure the bios settings that you have created<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/rolig.dk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/image-4.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"image\" style=\"border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px; background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-left: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: inline; padding-right: 0px\" border=\"0\" alt=\"image\" src=\"https:\/\/rolig.dk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/image_thumb-4.png\" width=\"576\" height=\"419\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>7. Add a \u201cSet Task Sequence Variable\u201d called \u201cRestart WinPE\u201d with the following settings:<br \/>Task Sequence Variable: SMSTSPostAction<br \/>Value: wpeutil reboot<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/rolig.dk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/image-6.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"image\" style=\"border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px; background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-left: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: inline; padding-right: 0px\" border=\"0\" alt=\"image\" src=\"https:\/\/rolig.dk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/image_thumb-6.png\" width=\"585\" height=\"282\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The last step will reboot the Pc.<\/p>\n<p>Deploy the task sequence to you deployment collect as Available.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Do the following to change the Bios from BIOS boot to UEFI secure boot and install windows 10.<\/p>\n<p>1. PXE boot your Pc<\/p>\n<p>2. Choose \u201cConfig BIOS Setting for Windows 10\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/rolig.dk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/image-7.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"image\" style=\"border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px; background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-left: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: inline; padding-right: 0px\" border=\"0\" alt=\"image\" src=\"https:\/\/rolig.dk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/image_thumb-7.png\" width=\"577\" height=\"479\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>3. When the Pc reboot, hit F12 again to PXE boot<\/p>\n<p>4.
