Update the bios to the newest version. Create a folder on your package share and call it \u201cDell_Command_Config_3.1.0.250\u201d<\/p>\n<p>4. Copy the \u201cX86\u201d and \u201cX86_64\u201d folder from \u201cC:\\Program Files (x86)\\Dell\\Command Configure\u201d to the folder you created in step 3.<\/p>\n<p>5. Download <a href=\"https:\/\/1drv.ms\/f\/s!AvUjoCp_23pE1SMUyw4kEHzcBH5w\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">cctk.cmd<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/1drv.ms\/f\/s!AvUjoCp_23pE1SMUyw4kEHzcBH5w\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">HAPIInstall.cmd<\/a> and place them in the root of the folder you created in step 3.<\/p>\n<p>6. Replicate the package to your distribution points<\/p>\n<p>7. Open you task sequence and create a group called \u201cDell\u201d with this condition: SELECT * FROM Win32_ComputerSystem WHERE Manufacturer LIKE &#8220;%Dell%&#8221;<br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/rolig.dk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/image-20.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"image\" style=\"border-left-width: 0px; border-right-width: 0px; background-image: none; border-bottom-width: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-left: 0px; display: inline; padding-right: 0px; border-top-width: 0px\" border=\"0\" alt=\"image\" src=\"https:\/\/rolig.dk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/image_thumb-20.png\" width=\"463\" height=\"197\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>8. Create another group called the name of the model you want to configure. Ex \u201cOptiPlex 7010\u201d. Add this condition: SELECT * FROM Win32_ComputerSystem WHERE Model LIKE &#8220;%OptiPlex 7010%&#8221;<br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/rolig.dk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/image-21.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"image\" style=\"border-left-width: 0px; border-right-width: 0px; background-image: none; border-bottom-width: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-left: 0px; display: inline; padding-right: 0px; border-top-width: 0px\" border=\"0\" alt=\"image\" src=\"https:\/\/rolig.dk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/image_thumb-21.png\" width=\"465\" height=\"194\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>9. Add a \u201cRun comman line\u201d step for each setting you want to apply to the bios. In this example I will add 6 steps. Those the package you created in step 5 as \u201cPackage\u201d in the Run command line step. The \u201c\u2014valsetuppwd\u201d is only applicable if you have a bios setup password. You can set a bios password with this command: cctk.cmd &#8211;setuppwd=PASSWORD<\/p>\n<p>a. Install HAPI<br \/><em>Name:<\/em> Install Dell HAPI Drivers<br \/><em>Command line:<\/em> HAPIInstall.cmd<\/p>\n<p>b. Enable UEFI<br \/><em>Name:<\/em> Current Active Boot List (Enable CONTINUE ON ERROR on the step i the task sequence)<br \/><em>Command line:<\/em> cctk.cmd bootorder \u2013activebootlist &#8211;valsetuppwd=PASSWORD<\/p>\n<p><em>Name:<\/em> Enable UEFI<br \/><em>Command line:<\/em> cctk.cmd bootorder &#8211;activebootlist=uefi &#8211;valsetuppwd=PASSWORD<\/p>\n<p>c. Disable \u201cEnable Legacy Option ROMs\u201d<br \/><em>Name:<\/em> Current Legacy ROM Setting (Enable CONTINUE ON ERROR on the step i the task sequence)<br \/><em>Command line:<\/em> cctk.cmd \u2013legacyorom &#8211;valsetuppwd=PASSWORD<\/p>\n<p><em>Name:<\/em> Disable Legacy ROMs<br \/><em>Command line:<\/em> cctk.cmd &#8211;legacyorom=disable &#8211;valsetuppwd=PASSWORD<\/p>\n<p>d.
