If  you want to manage Dell bios settings with SCCM and OSD, then you can follow this guide. I will show you how to configure Dell bios. This post contains info from this blog post<\/a>  and this blog post<\/a> from Mike Terrill.<\/p>\n

1. Update the bios to the newest version. (See this blog post<\/a> if you want to do that with SCCM and OSD)<\/p>\n

2. Download \u201cDell Command Configure<\/a>\u201d and install it.

Read the license agreement and accept it. Click \u201cNext\u201d<\/p>\n

Type your name and company. click \u201cNext\u201d<\/p>\n

Click Finish<\/p>\n

3. Create a folder on your package share and call it \u201cDell_Command_Config_3.1.0.250\u201d<\/p>\n

4. Copy the \u201cX86\u201d and \u201cX86_64\u201d folder from \u201cC:\\Program Files (x86)\\Dell\\Command Configure\u201d to the folder you created in step 3.<\/p>\n

5. Download cctk.cmd<\/a> and HAPIInstall.cmd<\/a> and place them in the root of the folder you created in step 3.<\/p>\n

6. Create a package in SCCM and call it \u201cDell_Command_Config_3.1.0.250\u201d<\/p>\n

a. \"image\"<\/a><\/p>\n

b. \"image\"<\/a><\/p>\n

c. \"image\"<\/a><\/p>\n

d. \"image\"<\/a><\/p>\n

e. Replicate the package to your distribution points<\/p>\n

7. Open you task sequence and create a group called \u201cDell\u201d with this condition: SELECT * FROM Win32_ComputerSystem WHERE Manufacturer LIKE “%Dell%”

8. Create another group called the name of the model you want to configure. Ex \u201cOptiPlex 7010\u201d. Add this condition: SELECT * FROM Win32_ComputerSystem WHERE Model LIKE “%OptiPlex 7010%”

9. Add a \u201cRun comman line\u201d step for each setting you want to apply to the bios. In this example I will add 6 steps. Those the package you created in step 5 as \u201cPackage\u201d in the Run command line step. The \u201c\u2014valsetuppwd\u201d is only applicable if you have a bios setup password. You can set a bios password with this command: cctk.cmd –setuppwd=PASSWORD<\/p>\n

a. Install HAPI
Name:<\/em> Install Dell HAPI Drivers
Command line:<\/em> HAPIInstall.cmd<\/p>\n

b. Enable UEFI
Name:<\/em> Current Active Boot List (Enable CONTINUE ON ERROR on the step i the task sequence)
Command line:<\/em> cctk.cmd bootorder \u2013activebootlist –valsetuppwd=PASSWORD<\/p>\n

Name:<\/em> Enable UEFI
Command line:<\/em> cctk.cmd bootorder –activebootlist=uefi –valsetuppwd=PASSWORD<\/p>\n

c. Disable \u201cEnable Legacy Option ROMs\u201d
Name:<\/em> Current Legacy ROM Setting (Enable CONTINUE ON ERROR on the step i the task sequence)
Command line:<\/em> cctk.cmd \u2013legacyorom –valsetuppwd=PASSWORD<\/p>\n

Name:<\/em> Disable Legacy ROMs
Command line:<\/em> cctk.cmd –legacyorom=disable –valsetuppwd=PASSWORD<\/p>\n

d. Enable secure boot
Name:<\/em> Current Secure Boot Setting (Enable CONTINUE ON ERROR on the step i the task sequence)
Command line:<\/em> cctk.cmd \u2013secureboot –valsetuppwd=PASSWORD<\/p>\n

Name:<\/em> Enable Secure Boot
Command line:<\/em> cctk.cmd –secureboot=enable –valsetuppwd=PASSWORD <\/p>\n

e. Enable WOL
Name:<\/em> Current Wake On Lan Setting (Enable CONTINUE ON ERROR on the step i the task sequence)
Command line:<\/em> cctk.cmd \u2013wakeonlan –valsetuppwd=PASSWORD<\/p>\n

Name:<\/em> Enable Wake On Lan
Command line:<\/em> cctk.cmd –wakeonlan=enable –valsetuppwd=PASSWORD <\/p>\n
